How do I find the date of my last System Image backup?

I would think this would be easy to find with an online search, but........here I am.......on a message board because I just couldn't find it.

I manually create a system image every once in a while (maybe once every few months, whenever I think of it).

But there is no way I can find, to see when the last system image was created. If I go to the external hard drive (where system image is saved), and right click on the folder ("WindowsImageBackup")...... the "properties" tell me the date that folder was originally created. It does not give a date it was "modified".

So for the life of me, I can not find one reference online, when to see the date of the most recent system image creation.

Umm.. I do hope you're not referring to deprecated Backup and Restore (Windows 7) - or are you?

If so, see the date markers indicated in this tutorial:
Restore Windows Backup in Windows 10

    Thanks.

Yes I am. I love Windows 7 Backup and Restore, and will keep using it.

    See amended previous post please.

Create System Image in Windows 10

System Image Backup (SIB) Solution has been deprecated
Microsoft recommends that users use full-disk backup solutions from other vendors.

Thanks dalChina, but that link doesn't address my issue. That link explains how to restore data from standard backups.

I'm looking to find the dates of System Images I've saved.

EDIT: I see your additional link to system image creation. thanks, but I knew all that information. I know how to create the system image, I just can't find a date of the last known system image save.

I guess what I will have to do, is delete the "WindowsImageBackup" folder from my external hard drive, and then proceed to Create System Image, each time I want a new system image created. That way, the new "WindowsImageBackup" folder will show the new date of the newly created system image.........presumably

The point being the date should be appended to the backup files- according to that...

System Images are saved in this format:

    drive letter:\WindowsImageBackup\computer name\Backup YYYY-MM-DD HHMMSS

EXAMPLE: If your computer name is Boozad-PC, your backup location is on hard drive (network or local) D: and you backed up on August 29th 2015 at 1:53:41 PM (it will use 24 hour time), then your system image would be located in the folder below.

    D:\WindowsImageBackup\BOOZAD-PC\Backup 2015-08-29 135341
    - and if you have a lot of such files, view the Date created column in file explorer.

Thank you for your time on this, and your links.

I also just discovered, that if I choose "Create a System Image", it will show the most recent image backup on the external hard drive.
