Amazing transfer speeds in Macrium 8.1 - What are your results?

    Hi all -

    A little rant...

I just super-like Macrium Reflect 8.1. Simple as that.
Being able to do a full single drive backup over 500 GB with verification in just over 21 minutes flat is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

However, the real surprise is the transfer speed from a Toshiba NVMe SSD to another (exact) Toshiba NVMe SSD co-resident on the same PCIe 3.0 bus.
AFAIK, the maximum speed for an NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD is up to 3,500MB per second, while a NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD can hit up to 7,500MB per second.

How can this be? The math and stopwatch are so close.

Has anyone else approached or surpassed this?

If so, please post your results here (as above) with your PCI bus revision.

    TIA

Prior to MR 8.1 it would take 45 minutes.
They cut the time by over 50%.

When I build my new PCIe 4.0 system, I guess that it will probably be 5+ minutes, lol.
