Win10 Clone SSD + External SSD = Rolled Into One........(Problem)

hi,

i'm not IT-savvy at all so i'm sure the solution to my problem is simple...........

so i cloned my ''original'' boot drive to a ''clone'' SSD...............i then used this ''clone'' SSD as an external SSD as well and was able to transfer pics and vids to the ''clone'' SSD and view them when connected to the pc via USB .........

but when i use the ''clone'' SSD as the boot drive to test if it will work (it works fine) ...........but i can't find any of the pics and vids i transferred earlier to it (when used as an external SSD) ?

so how do i resolve this issue ?...................many thanks

i took out the ''original'' SSD and replaced it with the ''clone''............all with SATA connection

i wish i knew...............after i cloned the ''clone'' SSD with Win10 Pro.........i used it as an external SSD (connected via USB) to the pc and i just transferred pics and vids to it..........i can use the ''clone'' SSD as a boot drive or as an external SSD...............but when used as a boot drive, i can't see or find my pics and vids..........

you mean search at the File Explorer ?

I would certainly use search to try and track them down. Besides Explorer, there are third-party utilities such as Everything that may also be useful.
