There is another, possibly better way.

Click on 'Create an image of the partition(s) required....' then click 'Advanced Options' at the bottom left. Here you can create a list of preferred locations, the one at the top of the list being the default....
Thanks, Bree. I'm finding it under "Alternative Locations" rather than "Advanced Options." I had tried that earlier, but it didn't want to work for me for some reason. At any rate, all is OK now and I'm a happier camper.

Just how I do things. I have always used Alternative locations. The reason is, I use different backup locations on purpose to assist in the event that the backup device has a hardware failure, or gets corrupted with a virus/malware etc. In the event of total failure, I can always copy the existing image file to another computer and use that to restore to a spare drive. Then insert that back into the main computer and be back to the date of that image. Backup devices are SSD, HDD, flash drive etc and I keep about 5 of the latest images on each and erase the older ones. I use the "folder" symbol to the right of Destination/Folder to choose where I will save the file. I can use the folder of choice multiple times by adding the time/date to file name. This has saved my "behind" many times when things go wrong when you least expect it.
