w7 32bit will not 'upgrade' to w10 64 bit (unless I was mis-informed)
So I have moved to a 64 bit machine & am installing from scratch all my settings (50+ hrs)
(no upgrade, fresh start)
That's fine. Once you have a digital license for W10 you can install 32 or 64 bit, the license doesn't care
That just means if you need to retrieve a copy of WinRE.wim from the install media you need to extract it from the 64-bit media.
