    New external HDD does not have a Disk icon in File Explorer

    I always have identical files on my two newest external HDDs.

    I have a new HDD. That will now become my "newest" HDD, so I assigned the usual drive letter T:. (The old T: was changed to S:)

    I copied all files (1.2TB) from S: to T:

    Only after the copy did I notice that the T: icon (the new HDD) was a sheet of paper with one corner folded down - rather than a floppy drive.

    The Properties of the Drive/Folder are shown in screenshot below.

    The T: Drive/Folder does not show in Disk Management.

    How do I get rid of this cuckoo ?

    ADDED:

    I cracked this issue. Thanks (yet again) to Dell SupportAssist.

    I now have a new T: drive which can actually save files - rather than a file which can't save anything except text.
    From experience, we all know that files can't be used to save files. It's one of those things.
