    Trying to remove one-drive backups

I have a Surface Pro 7, and I recently had to re-image the device and revert everything back to its factory settings.
But now my settings are wrong.
What I am struggling with today is how everything on here is trying to be backed up to my One-Drive. I suddenly have my one-drive nearly maxed out because various programs are saving things like temporary files to it instead of a local folder (most notably Clip Studio Paint does this.)

How do I get all these folders to actually just be local folders instead of trying to save them all to the one drive? I don't even know what folders are being used that I need to fix.

Hi, there are numerous linked tutorials on OneDrive in the huge searchable Tutorials section (see link at top).

If you don't want to use Onedrive at all, you can disable its integration and synching (See appropriate tutorials), and then uninstall it.

By default, OneDrive only syncs a restricted set of folders. (There's also a tutorial on how you can extend that).

I recently had to re-image the device and revert everything back to its factory settings.
Had you been using 3rd party disk imaging regularly and routinely (as is endlessly recommended here) you could have restored your PC 'as was' at the time you created the image of your partition or partitions - i.e. retained programs, accounts etc.

Far better option than a factory restore.
