Steve C : I am not sure what you mean
I found out my hard drive partition - 4 T with 6 partitions lost one of the partitions. Maybe that was it. I used partition device manager to get the partition Drive letter back - but the drive letter was not associated with the backup.
I just finished a check for errors and it says there are no errors.
I also tried a new image on a separate partition and I get the same error : Disk 2 disk not found and disk 4 disk not found. I am not really sure which is disk 2 or 4.
My drive :
C - Samsung SSD 500 gig
D - 1 TB WD platter
E, G, H , I, J , K - 4TB platter WD
Date on computer is fine.
In this guide, you will learn the steps to use the free version of Macrium Reflect 8 with the best settings to make automatic backups of a computer running Windows 10 or Windows 11.
FreeBooter : I have backed up using Macrium reflect many many times over the years - this is a new issue.
Garyw : There is no disk 4 in my disk management. This is strange to me.
I am using a 4TB hard drive for backup. I only hook up the drive internally when I am backing up. Any other time, it is not being used. I have backed up with this HD before with no issues, but suddenly this error over and over. I am backup up again today and come across the same error again.
Disk 2 is the 4TB hard drive.
NOTE : I ran the image verification through Macrium and it was successful, but I would still like to figure this out. I also ran disk check through windows explorer on each of the partitions of the drive and there were no errors. Maybe I need to do this command line?
