    Macrium Question about deleting


    I have succeeded in getting to the restore portion of Macrium for my Dell. When I start running the back up the following msg comes up:
    "The following drives will be overwritten D:/backup - I cancelled - I don't think I should overwrite this should I. I mean it's the backup files to restore system. Thanks.

    Well, it depends what YOU choose to restore from your disk image.

    E.g. you can restore an individual partition from an image file including images of a number of partitions.

    The choice is yours, as indeed is what you image and in which manner.
