with IMG Burn , using the “ Create Image file from files folders” option..

if you want to use imgburn to burn an iso file to cd/dvd, it is "Write Image File to Disc"

When I do IMG Burn “ Write Image file to Disk” and I point to the Partition Assistant .exe file as a source, I get a message “invalid or unsupported file system” and I cannot burn the image file.
Again, it says 64-bits . Unless you show me otherwise, I don’t think this app is for Windows 32-bits

You are right, it would be so much better if my wife upgraded to Windows 10 and it would make an easier job to do the BUP I trying to do , but she is not too much into computers and would feel a bit lost to have to adapt to a new Windows 10 environment.

Ireally think I should call it a quit. Yhank you all for your help

In my downloads there is no “ Paragon Adaptive Restore APP, but there is another one Starting with PA ( Partition Assistant) which I took for yours. There is also another one that landed in my downloaded folder at about the same time: it is called BCDBOOTDISKV14x64, But I cannot get it installed or burnt to ISO because the system says it is not compatible. It is probably a x64 app , So I am back to square one.
