Geek squad can not back up data says nothing happens

    Mary,

    I know this will sound like nagging but have you now initiated a comprehensive backup plan?
    - Regular system images
    - Backup of your own files
    - Backup installed drivers
    With suitable backups, you can be back up & running really quickly after glitches.

    just to touch base with you and your advice. I have my windows 10 back from an independent company. It works better than before. The did not need a reinstall and everything better than before.Apparently when i tried to uninstall open shell it removed some windows properties. Anyway. up and running like new with no tad loss and for 200.00 ans not 30 days ike Geek Squad had it only to tell me it was toast. Thank you one and all for all your help and support you always give good advice and are very patient with me

    What sort of backup is it?
    - A system image?
    - Is the utility that made it now installed so you can make use of it?

    not sure the tech did it but i assume it is the entire system Not sure what he used but when I do it i use Acronis and do the entire image

    Can't you just look at the external drive?
