    Advanced partitioning Paragon

    Hello,

My 320GB WD HDD spinning disk, stops working, I had a very recently MR backup,
but not a HDD with the same capacity

I replaced the broken HDD for a 500GB TOSHIBA

Now I have 177.67GB of Unallocated space, when I don't need not to waste HDD capacity AND only 20GB
of Unallocated space, But I am afraid to move anything without the help of the experts here at this forum.

So in short I only need 20GB of Unallocated space

    Can you help me?

    Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2130)

    Thanks
    Camelia

I'm not familiar with that particular program but it looks like you'd just move the top slider to where you want it- the bottom one should move at the same time.

Then I'd guess the Before and After let you swap between the views so you can compare.

Bear in mind nothing has changed on disk- at this stage you could just quit the program.

Then you'd click whichever of 'change now' or 'place in queue' is appopriate.

I'd guess the latter, so the change is effected on restarting the PC.

Have you read tutorials, the Help file, Youtube videos ?

    I searched for
paragon hard disk manager resize site:youtube.com

Using Paragon Hard Disk Manager 15 Professional - YouTube

Paragon Partition Manager 11 - How to Resize a Partition - YouTube
    for example.

use one of the sliders. You can see the proposed changes before clicking Change Now.

If you are not changing the start sector it probably won't need to reboot .

If you only want to shrink or expand the os partition on the right you can do it with windows disk management without any 3rd party tools.

    Code:
    diskpart
    Select volume c
    Extend
    Exit
    Exit
    Done.

You can also just right click on C: drive and extend it in Windows built-in disk management.

Why make things harder than they have to be?
