    Macrium Reflect boot menu

For some reason my dual-boot menu for Macrium Reflect/Windows 10x64 Pro build 19044.1949 quit working and I have been unable to get it back despite following all the instructions I've been able to find. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Run MSconfig and delete any old Reflect Boot entries.

    Then uninstall Reflect and reinstall.

Then I am sure you will be able to create a new boot entry.

Just did that and I still don't get the menu when I reboot however, after watching it reboot a couple times I realized there is a long delay during startup. I move the cursor around and it didn't start up, I move the cursor to where it would be for Macrium and clicked and it opened. So now I've narrowed down that I'm actually getting the boot menu but for some reason it's not displaying? Any idea what would be causing that?

I just did a complete reinstall of my Intel processor video driver and now everything appears to be working correctly!

I have had similar issue with Intel drivers on my laptop. It was getting to boot screen but screen was blank. You could still select a boot option by memory. If you just waited, it eould eventually boot to default OS after 30seconds. I never proved it but I always suspected a video driver or bios issue. I could change to legacy bios boot menu and that waa visible. Then one day,,it fixed itself after messing with video drivers. So I think you hit the nail on the head by reinstalling driver. Good inspiration!

I also think you did well to fix this problem.

What surprises me is that Windows must therefore be running when the boot menu is shown - demonstrated by the fact that altering Windows' display driver affected display of the boot menu.

    All the best,

Actually I'm not sure that Windows is running, I changed the driver for the Intel processor and the processor actually has to start up for the PC to do anything. Maybe somehow the driver's integration into the processor is what cured the problem?

You changed a driver within Windows.
The driver [a piece of software] only runs within Windows.
I do not know how the Bios manages the display but it cannot be by using something that only runs within Windows.

    That's why I am surprised,

I read somewhere, I forget where that when you install new drivers for Intel video etc. a small portion of the drivers also attached to the processor directly.
