Clone Win 10 HD to SSD on New Dell PC, & why didn't Dell put OS on SSD

    Some Dells are sold with an M.2 SSD but it is used for the Intel Optane memory and not the OS.

    Find out if the Dell XPS desktop PC that's running Windows 10 is permanently activated.
    Run slmgr -xpr.
    Since Marketplace seller is a 3rd party vendor, I'd want to find out up-front.

    What are the support features of the Marketplace seller 3rd party vendor?

    If the ownership is transferred to the new buyer they have the full, remaining, warranty (and can purchase extended warranties).
    This comes up occasionally on the Dell forums, even with those bought at retail such as Best Buy, Costco, etc.
