How to remove macrium boot record manually

In msconfig the boot record doesn't show up and on boot it also doesn't show up. It was there at some point but I replaced my hard drive sometime ago.

In macrium when I want to create a boot entry it says:

    "bcdedit.exe" /export c:\temp_bcd\bcd
The store export operation has failed.
The system cannot find the file specified."bcdedit.exe" /createstore c:\temp_bcd\bcd
The store creation operation has failed.
Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

I would boot from a Reflect usb drive, then select option "fix windows boot options", then select Windows 10.

This will delete the bcd completely and re-build it.

Then boot into Windows and you should be able to recreate the boot menu.

In Macrium Reflect when you build the rescue media one of the options is to add Macrium to the Windows boot menu. If you choose this option Reflect places a copy of the the recovery media boot files in C:\Boot and adds Macrium Reflect as an option at start up, the BCD entry pointing to the Macrium boot files on C:. Choosing this option at start up is identical to booting from the rescue USB (only a lot faster to boot up).

Of course (for additional clarity), you still need to create the boot usb drive in case hard drive fails or gets corrupted etc.

Thanks all for your gracious replies! While my laptops have already an MR boot menu item, I wanted to better understand how and why Cereberus gets the below into the MR boot menu.
"...In Macrium when I want to create a boot entry it says:"
    "bcdedit.exe" /export c:\temp_bcd\bcd
The store export operation has failed.
The system cannot find the file specified."bcdedit.exe" /createstore c:\temp_bcd\bcd
The store creation operation has failed.
Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

In my MR boot menu, I was able to get one single line to show up in my Windows 7 and Windows 10 pre-Windows-load menu.
