Do not delete your Windows Recovery Partition without reading this!

    Hi all -

    Where did it go?

Not under Create Bootable Rescue Media.

Am I losing it? Reinstalled, too.

Mine is the same, but I don't have the Recovery partition.

Nor do I. However, the Windows RE was present up until the install of this new version.

    So the question is:

Did Macrium remove it or does Macrium depend on Windows having it and something went wrong?

    Strange.

The only thing I'm sure of is that Macrium also has Windows PE.

When I first installed Macrium I had Win 10 on an MBR disk. I've since converted it to GPT.

Yes, the PE is there in all it's flavors.
Question is how to get that RE WIM back and integrated with Macrium.

I seem to remember a post by either @NavyLCDR or @Try3, about a way to do that.. but it was a while ago.
I also think I tried that, and it didn't work for me.

On a side note: Disk Genius also thinks my EFI partition is... damaged.
I'm not sure, but I think that may have had to do with my conversion from MBR to GPT.

The C:\Windows\System32\Recovery folder does not have it.
I might have to get the WIM off of another computer and place it there.

After I converted from MBR to GPT, I had to run Macrium's Fix Windows boot problems, to get my comp to boot again.
I don't know if that had any affect or not.
