    Macrium shows a red partition

Macrium shows a red partition when making a backup of my new SSD , with four partitions on it.
    Its a brand new installation of Win11 , latest ; 21H2 22000.376 , on a new PC.
The OS is on the SSD , not the red one , but one of the other three is red .
Any idea what this means ??
Windows runs fast , no problems , never seen this before with my Macrium resque-media !

Could you provide a screenshot of what you see in Macrium as well as from what disk management sees?

Follow-up: I'm going to take a guess, but I seem to recall something like this from the corner of my mind. Could it be that the partition in question is low on free space? I seem to recall seeing this when less than some set percentage of space is available, but again, this is only a guess.

I have the same, it's a recovery partition. Been like that for a while.

"low on free space"..........yes, thought so !
Will take photo , maybe I can remove this very small partition ..........
Just opened a partitionviewer ; this red partition is a recovery partition with 595MB and 53MB free space .
    Should I remove it ?

Probably yes but you should check if that recovery partition is not active. My guess is the active recovery partition is partition 4. (only one can be active)

Run following from admin command prompt

    Code:
    reagentc /info
On mine, partition 4 is active as below.

    Seems you are right !

    Rec.part. is 595MB , 53MB free
    FAT32 ,EFI,system , 100MB
    OS ,465GB ,Data
    Reserved (?) , not formatted, 16MB.............this is a view of the 4 SSD-partitions , with one shows red .
    Is this normal behaviour ; only 53MB free on a recovery-partition ?

The recovery partition is there for troubleshooting and help restoring Windows. I could remove both that I have (dual booting) as I'm using Macrium but as they take so little space I just leave alone.
