Just to add, Windows can't format a partition/drive larger than 32GB as FAT32, usually offers only exFAT and NTFS for larger capacities.

Hi Ghot, The drop down list only had exFAT. Is that what I want?

I don't have an option FAT32 in the format list. I used exFAT and Win10 says it needs to be NTFS.

Are you just right clicking the USB stick in File Explorer, and choosing format?

Also, it may want ExFat for a stick bigger than 32GB.
I have a 256 GB stick that I formatted with FAT32, and it only formatted 32 of the 256GB.
