Number of partitions?

Good afternoon

I've just cloned a Hdd onto an SSD on the HP laptop we've been given by my parents (previously upgraded the memory) to help speed the laptop up. It would appear there are 6 partitions on the hard drive.
I'm presuming other than the main for the OS that these are because my parents still have a profile on the pc and we've added a new one?

Will there be any benefit in removing some of the partitions? I didn't alter any of the sizes originally when i cloned, should i have (yes i should i know) but does it really matter? i can still change them when its installed

will i need to make any settings in the bios when removing the existing and installing the SSD.

this is the original HDD the ssd is exactly the same, just not installed yet as i have to take the laptop to bits...damn you HP

I believe you have 2 redundant recovery partitions, and at first glance, probably no factory reset partition.

This is a UEFI installation, so I would have expected there to be a System Reserved partition, typically 16Mb. However that is optional for practical purposes.

D: has presumably been created as a data partition, unless it's a leftover factory reset partition.

presumably the redundant ones are 1.7gb and 350mb?

Should there be a System Reserved partition - does there need to be?

Are there any issues leaving the hard drive like it is? other than it 'looks' untidy. And expanding the c:) for the new 1TB drive
