    Restore EFI System Partition?


    Hi - I need to replace my SSD since it has a bad physical sector. Due to that, I can't clone it onto another SSD by using a USB/M.2 adapter. I need to completely reinstall Windows on the new SSD after I install it (the SSD with the bad sector has W10 on it). So my question is, do I need to copy the EFI System Partition and the Recovery Partition onto the new SSD in addition to my C drive (see attached image)? Or, will these partitions be automatically created when I reinstall W10? I will be using a thumb drive to perform the reinstallation of W10. I created it using the recovery tutorial on this forum site.

    Hi, a normal clean installation of Win 10 is to unallocated space and all the partitions necessary are created.

    If your existing Windows partition (used part) was not affected by the faulty sector, there's a good chance you could rescue it. But I'm assuming it is, from what you say.
    I created it using the recovery tutorial on this forum site.
    If you were doing a clean install, I would expect your starting point to be
