macrium rescue failed to see a USB-SSD

i just restored a macrium image of the whole C:-drive. i had bought an SSD to make it run fast(er), but rescue-media was unable to see the SSD, so i ended up using the copy on a NAS. some 20 hours later the system is back up, but i'm wondering what went wrong. attached a screenshot. U:\ is the SSD, but backup on it was not seen. does the app want to see the add'l file it creates, "My Backup"?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like Macrium couldn't find the share on your NAS on which you stored your image, correct?
If so did you click "Browse for an image file" and add the path to the share on the NAS?

it does see the NAS, but...

it does see the NAS, but only if it's been added to the app before building the rescue media. that's another thing i struggled with before. the options on the rescue environment don't work. and NAS is slow...
