Reflect - Hourly Backup of User Files?

I've been trying to set up Reflect to do an hourly scheduled incremental backup of my Documents folder but this doesn't seem possible since the shortest time increment is one day (see below). Is it possible to schedule a backup more frequently than every day?

No, not yet. It will be a new feature for v8.

    Intra daily backups
Dynamic and fast-changing data needs regular and consistent backups at intervals of hours, not days. That's why we've been working hard to make intra daily backups part of Reflect 8.

I now have a list of good reasons to buy the upgrade. I'll ditch File History when Reflect can do hourly backups.

Also, under some conditions it is possible to use the Windows Task Scheduler instead of Macrium's own Scheduler, if after creating the Backup.Xml (leaving Macrium's Scheduler blank), you then use the command line for Reflect in the Windows Task Scheduler (which allows frequencies from 5 mins upwards).
eg. using this type of command:
    Run as Admin:-
    Program/Script:
    "C:\Program Files\Macrium\Reflect\reflect.exe"
    Add arguments
    -e -w -full C:\path_to\Backup.xml (for full backups)
    or
    -e -w -inc C:\path_to\Backup.xml (for incrementals)

Or as you say, wait for the new Version.

Prior to v8, other than using the Windows Task Scheduler to do hourly snapshots, you would have to set up many Daily snapshots at different times... a pain in the butt but doable. v8 allows you to set all that up under the normal Reflect scheduling mechanism.

I don't DO incremental backups of anything. But I couldn't help but notice the "On event" option, in your pic above.
Might that option be coerced into doing what you want?

Yes, that would work on logon but I would prefer an hourly option to minimise any risk of losing user files. I'm just going to wait for v8 which appears imminent.

Yeah, I don't know what options you get if you select On Event.
    It was just a thought.

Add multiple schedules for same backup, overlapping same days but different hours?

Regarding V8 I was told in email its within 2 months, so not sure if its coming imminently.

Hourly incremental backup can also be done with free version of Aomei Backupper. By its schedule backup you can choose Daily > Intervals, and set up the frequency during a specific period, like every 1 hour, every 2 hours, etc.
