Hi, if you're referring to the MReflect boot disk, that can be used any time you need too boot your PC from it e.g. to restore the O/S.

Personally I'd probably only bother updating it if there's a major version number upgrade of MR.

If your 'repair CD' is something else, please clarify exactly what it is. Thanks.

Similar question to first post , as a novice to MR free edition .
Originally built MR rescue medium boot USB drive , with win 10 build 2004 . Tested and worked .
Have since upgraded to Win 10 Vers 20H2 19042.870 and also updated MR to Vers 7.3.5758
Should i rebuild the MR Rescue boot USB drive ??

I recommend always rebuilding after a Windows upgrade as the underlying WinRe partition used by Reflect often gets updated as well. I also always update after every Reflect update mainly because I like to keep everything 100% up to date.

    Hi there
another good reason to update MR frequently - especially if you have newer or different hardware than when you made your original stand alone bootable recovery disc is that MF will include any new drivers required to boot on your newer hardware.

    Cheers
