Nothing like a trial run either. If it doesn't work as you wanted then you know that period. At that point you find another solution if there is one and if not you move on. Nothing with computers is easy. If it was everyone would be fine and no one would need help.
the first step you have here is to get a baseline OS installed on these various machines. After that you can then customize the install. Once that is done then you can use a tool like FFU to clone it but unless you have identical machine to use it on you will have issues. This is one of the purposes of Generalization, to remove the SID signature so that an image can be moved to another system with minimal effort. I think you are looking for something simpler than that and frankly, I don't think it exists.
