In your example of the Disk D: FFU image capture, is D: an MBR disk? If yes that is the issue, FFU only supports GPT format.

The OP's third screenshot in post #8 shows in the 'list disk' command that disk 0 is 50GB and disk 1 is 1863GB, and that neither of them are GPT (there's no * in the Gpt column).

Further down the details for disk 1, partition 1 shows that it is drive D: and labelled TOSHIBA EXT. This is typical of Toshiba 2TB external usb HDD, as formatted by Toshiba at the factory as an MBR disk with a single NTFS partition (I have several myself, so recognise it).

That was my interpretation as well, thanks for confirming. So the request is not supported output is due to an MBR formatted disk.

Damn, thanks for your support, I don't have time to write that I will immediately read your answer, you are fantastic.
Partition D is on a 2TB external physical drive.
I don't know which version of WinPE I have installed. From the control panel of the computer I find this program:
"Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit - Windows 10"
    Installation date:
    30/06/2020
    Dimension:
    1.22 GB
    Version:
    10.1.19041.1
Another problem I encounter is that when the ISO file starts I struggle to type in the command prompt because the keys on my keyboard type something else. It seems that WinPE does not recognize my keyboard.
If "Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit - Windows 10" is the version of WinPE I can remove it and install an updated version in my language (Italian).
How can I tell if my disk is GPT?
Disk D is a 2TB external disk that I formatted to NTFS with Windows 10 and use it to store music, documents, etc. on it.
Are there any third-party programs, even for a fee, that I can use so as not to complicate my life too much?
I have tried Acronis without much satisfaction in the past but if there is something better I can try.
    Thanks so much

diskpart list disk shows if disk is GPT or not by display of an * under the GPT column. You can add a language pack to your WinPE build if necessary.

You cannot convert and MBR disk to GPT unless all formatting and partition information is removed first. This means that any data on the disk will be deleted.

I have read your 4 points and I trust what you write but I am just afraid that the process of creating the image is too long.
1.I don't understand what you intend to customize the installation. Can you give a small example?
    2. Is there a guide for this? Are you advising me to remove all drivers so Windows chooses the right drivers when restoring?
    3. Sounds simple, is there a good guide?
    4. I have already done this but I just need to create a more valid support with my Italian keyboard.
    Thanks for all

Point 1 - You may wish to install some utility or other app prior to capturing the image.
Point 2 - Not sue if a guide exists, have never looked for one. Yes a generalization will remove installed hardware drivers and allow Windows generic drivers to be used for hardware initialization purposes.
Point 3 - Since you insist on a guide I located one that covers the bases fairly well. It uses a network share as a destination which is typical. Learn How To Sysprep Capture Windows 10 Image Using DISM How To Manage Devices

But I am not satisfied that a utility is installed on Windows 10. For example, if the Chrome browser is added to the OS, I want a specific configuration to be present and certain bookmarks to be present. I want all these configurations to be automatically saved in the image. Sysprep doesn't convince me very much but I'm going to read something.
    Always thanks

Sysprep appears not to work on updated operating systems. I want to distribute custom installations that I update and modify over time.

Sysprep removes the SID from the system but I don't care about that because my clients don't work in the same network and don't know each other. The SID can remain unique.
