Or subscribe to this thread, I'm sure it will be a hive of activity once v8 is released. Current best guess is for the end of March. This post was from an official v8 Beta tester (Macrium's Beta test program is by invite only).

The testing is moving along very nicely at this point... hopefully really positive results by the end of the calendar quarter...

Someone on macrium forums told me when v7 came out the free upgrade offer was only for new v6 owners not owners who upgraded from v5, I am ringing macrium today if their lines are open to see if there is a discount option for v6 to v8 path.

Just got told on phone v6 users will also get the upgrade discount. :)
