    Macrium

Back in September time, Dalchina , zbook and a couple of others guided me through upgrading my PC from windows 7 to windows 10, brilliant and everything is spot on still now. But one of the processes I did was install macrium. I keep getting reminders of updates, far too many actually, I tried to turn it off but it won't switch off.

Is there any action I can take other than uninstalling it ? I would still keep the exe file, just reinstall the program ? Or how do I stop the pop up.

You should be able to turn off automatic checks for updates in Other Tasks > Edit Defaults...

On the Update tab un-tick everything, then click the OK button.

I strongly recommend you just do the updates. It only takes a few minutes. Having a reliable backup tool is so critical, and the Macrium Team do excellent work resoving issues that you may be unaware of until it is too late.

Uninstall (use RevoUninstaller or Geek Uninstaller). Download and install latest Macrium version, then see if the update requests continue.

Pointless, wouldn't work or solve anything.

I get emails when MR sends out an update. And, I do get a popup "asking" if I want to download and install the update at the time. If I do not update, I do get a few more NotificationTrayIcon reminders for awhile.
