Disk 1 has an EFI partition. Disk 0 does not . How can Disk 0 be a clone of disk 1 then? I suggest you use MR to clone again. Either that or I'm totally unable to follow what you're trying to do.

Disk 1 is the original drive from the laptop, and disk 0 is the cloned 1tb drive.
Presumably when you say "drive" you mean disk. How did you do this? Did you select individual partitions for cloning?

I would like to avoid a fresh install if at all possible to avoid losing user configurations

The way to do this is to

    1. fix the original so it boots properly.

I have posted instructions on fixing this issue before

    HERE

    2. Then clone/image the original. I suggest cloning the entire disk using a program that adjusts the volume value and bcd entries.

Once the clone finished and wasnt booting, I started troubleshooting, my only guess is that the EFI was affected by the onslaught of commands I used.

Currently cloning disk 1 to disc 0 again to resolve the EFI issue.

On a side note, MR booted to usb, when trying to repair boot issues, it stated there was no active partition. I am assuming I can set the main partition to active via CMD in the windows repair tool or via CMD from my desktop?

Yes, disk and drive are synonymous to me. I used active boot to clone it, there really wasn't many options, it was supposed to be a full clone. I had used that program before with win7 and hdd with no issues.

I wanted to stay away from using the original disk for resolutions so I don't accidentally corrupt the files and info.

I am cloning disk 1 to disk 0 using MR and then going to try the boot repair issue within MR. Will advise of the results shortly. Thanks

If you HDD works and boot, then all you have to do is clone it with MR - no repairs or fuss required.

When you start cloning it, be sure to expand the C: drive partition on the SSD in MR to use up all available space since the SSD is bigger than the HDD.

Watch this: How to clone a disk drive using Macrium reflect and resize the partition - YouTube to expand the partition before before you start cloning so you know how to do it.

The original HDD worked/booted correctly and is EFI, correct? If yes, make sure the laptop BIOS is set back to UEFI only if it worked that way before.
