Can't backup or restore on my program of Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit

I am seeking for help what to do to fix the problem with my operating system of Windows 10 64-bit version. I did try to backup or restore in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, recovery, backup. I was going to refresh my operating system and in that way I will not loose all the files but I don't see " Refresh " and all I see is " Reset " in Troubleshoot. Any idea how to get these fixed and more likely the registry corrupted? Let me know about this.

My Windows Operating System is Windows 10 64-bit. My OS build is 19042.746 and version 20H2.

    Thank you,

    John

Are you wanting to do this as a precaution for the future, or do you need it to correct an existing problem?

    Your options ...
    - backup all your personal data (anyway, no matter why or what has happened)
    - if system is running OK, use Macrium Reflect (free) to create a recoverable/restorable image (repeat periodically to update and additions/changes. Also create a bootable Macrium recovery USB
    or
    - if system is NOT running OK, back up all personal data and then download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, create a bootable USB and re-install Windows 10. This option is obviously a last resort and you will have to re-install all your preferred software.

Note you could also try a system repair using this download from within your existing system - i.e. don't boot from the USB - but I have never had any success to my satisfaction, and usually end up doing the above clean install. I don't even bother with the repair option anymore, but sometimes it may be necessary to try because of possibility of not being able to install other software (lost license, no longer available, etc.

In Settings/Update and Security/Recovery/Reset this PC press the Get Started button. You will see Keep My Files, see attached.
You can also download the Windows 10 ISO image, and once downloaded, Right click the ISO file and choose Mount, this will load a virtual DVD drive with the contents. Then Double click Setup.exe to start the Refresh it will ask if you want to Keep Files or not.
If you can't boot the computer, then As stated, you can burn the Windows 10 ISO image to USB Flash drive using the Media Creation Tool on that same page, and boot off of it to repair or reinstall Windows.
