Me, too, also. Old school me feels there are usually other minor corrections and that sort made also that they do list specifically.

There is another way, if you have the paid-for v8 Home version. You can remove your licence key and downgrade it to Free.

Now that may not sound a very useful way to get v8 Free, but you can take a note of the Free licence key before reinstalling your Home key. Then you can install the v8 Trial on another machine, then go through the 'purchase' options to change its installed key to the Free key
    Neat.

    Macrium Reflect v8.0.6161
    Macrium Reflect Patch Details

    Bug fixes and Improvements v8.0.6161 - 7th September 2021

    • General

      • We've added identification of external processes locking Macrium Reflect backup files when a sharing violation causes a failure in the backup or consolidation.
Note: Process names can only be identified if they originate on the local PC and are traceable.
      • We've added a 'Reveal' button to show the typed/entered password when browsing/verifying/restoring password protected or encrypted images.
      • We've added a backup overall progress percentage tooltip to Reflect Monitor taskbar system tray icon

    • Localization

      • We've added Japanese localization support. The Japanese language will be automatically selected at install time for Japanese Windows installations.
Take 'Other Tasks' > 'Defaults and Settings' > 'Advanced' > 'Language' to change language for an existing installation after patching.

And they've finally restored overall progress percentage tooltip to Reflect Monitor taskbar system tray icon. It's been missing since version 6.

You know where to get all the installers.

Josey, do you mean that you don't have the Macrium Reflect v8.0.6161 update?
If so, open Macrium Reflect and click on the "Updates" button.

    Hello,

I am having an small problem,

My 320GB WD HDD spinning disk, stops working, I had a very recently MR backup, but not a HDD with the same capacity

I replaced the broken HDD for a 500GB TOSHIBA

Now I have 177.67GB of Unallocated space, when I don't need not to waste HDD capacity AND only 10GB Or 20GB of Unallocated space, but I do not have idea How to.

    Any help?

    Thanks

Your 287.52 C: Boot Partition is more than adequate as is. How much of C: is Free?

The Unallocated 177.67 can simply sit there unused until you find a need for it then create a new partition using some or all of it. If the free space on your C: drive RIGHT NOW is low, you can simply extend the C: partition using some of the Unallocated.

Next step depends on you showing us the free space on C:.
