Well I took the 50% off for all 5 of my units just posting this to follow this thread

When I right click a backup file & choose properties, I get this image:

It could be because I have QTTabBar installed as a 3rd party utility. I asked this question on the MR Forum here & they think that's what's causing it.

Anyone who also has QTTabBar installed get that message when trying to look at a backup files Properties?

I can confirm, as others have said over there, that without any 3rd party extensions MIG v8 doesn't block Explorer from displaying the properties of a .mrimg file.

No, as I said in my reply this is how MIG should behave 'without any 3rd-party extensions'.

Yes, just a right click is enough to trigger image guardian. This is not new. V7 was the same.
