    Hard drive not found

Needed to reinstall windows 10 pro.
My additional (D) SSD hard drive has a password protection. It is used to store documents, pictures and games etc. To not delete all info on that the D drive it was disconnected before reinstalling windows on default drive (C).
After reinstalling windows and all is set up I reconnected drive D but windows is unable to discover it.

    I know the password.
    Is there a fix?

    1. Does it show up in BIOS?

    2. Is it listed in Disk Managemet?

    3. Is it a standard 2.5" SSD connected to a SATA port, or an M.2 SSD?

Make sure you have both data and power supply cables connected tightly. It has to show up in BIOS first. If it doesn't show up in BIOS on that computer, try connecting it to a different computer.
