Macrium Reflect Rescue Media boot and display driver problem

When I boot rescue media, windows symbol appears after a minute. Is there any way to avoid that delay in booting?

When creating rescue media, it does not save my intel hd4000 driver in boot media. Previously I used to add the driver, macrium boot partition before media created. Then boot media loaded driver and resolution I used to get as desired. But now with same procedure, during boot, it shows driver is loaded, but resolution is not changing. Whether driver is actually loaded or not how to know.

Is there any way to make boot media add the display driver on its own?

When you create the boot media using WinRe rather than WinPe, there is an option to overcome resolution issue kin advanced options.

    Thanks for your response.

I used WinRe only first. In spite of enabling that option, resolution shown is minimum resolution of 800x600 only with or without the driver loaded.

I then tried with WinPe win10, with display driver loaded by me, I got normal HD resoluion now.

However still my problem of delayed starting of rescue media remains.

It can take a little while to load. What you need to take into account is that it's not actually booting directly from the USB. What is happening is that the boot.wim is being read into memory as a RAM drive then it boots from that. Once Macrium has loaded you can remove the USB and Macrium still runs from the X: drive.

You mean you have other higher resolution choices than 800x600? The only choice I get is 800 x 600 unless I disable "secure boot" in my BIOS first.

Thanks for the info Bree. But if it reads boot.wim from usb stick, will the light in stick not flicker to show data read?
