What is Macrium Reflect trying to tell me?

Macrium Reflect and my own Disk Management are telling me two different things about the same partition.







Macrium reports that the partition has almost reached its capacity threshold, while on the other hand Disk Management indicates that 100% of the partition is free.

Funny thing is, that is the Recovery Partition and I thought nothing can be added or subtracted from it and yet that bar turned red in Macrium Reflect when it use to be blue like the other partitions.

Is this something to be concerned about and why the heck do I have two Recovery Partitions?

Personally, I would just delete them both, and extend C. Windows should do it, but if not there`s always Partition Wizard

I believe the RED partition is an HP factory restore partition. And I think partition 4 is the Windows recovery partition.

I had given the thought of deletion to both of them as I don't see the relevance of having them either.

Quick question about the partition wizard:

Will Drive C be automatically extended since those Recovery partitions fall at the end of drive C?

Well, you will have to tell Partition Wizard to do that, but yes, you can extend the C: partition into the space used by partitions 3 and 4, once the are deleted.

Keep in mind that both partition 3 and 4, will only give you a bit less than 2GB total extra space.

Will the deletion of 3 and 4 cause the space to be what they call unallocated and hence the reason for a manual extension of C using the partition wizard?

Exactly. Once you get that unallocated space, you just right click the C: partition and choose resize or extend...
