C drive is MBR and machine is UEFi, problem in using Aomei backup

    C drive is MBR and machine is UEFi, problem in using Aomei backup


    I tried to use Aomei backupper to do both system backup and disk backup of one of my machines, but neither of them is successful and there are error either after finishing the backup or when i checked the image files. Please see the screen shots below.

    I suspect this may be due to the C drive (the disk) is MBR but my machine motherboard is running uefi, if this is the case, can you please help to resolve it.

    Your Bios should have an option to have Legacy & UEFI, not just one or the other.

    If your Bios doesn`t have it then you may be stuck.

    We recommend you try Macrium Reflect, it`s free and works great.

    Just a word of warning, if you change it in BIOS, it may mess up your installation of Windows.
