Problems booting with cloned disk created with Macrium Reflect

Disconnect the original drive.

Connect the cloned drive (Desktops should use the same cable as the original drive).

Boot.

I am using SSDs and already tried that.

Now the machine will not boot at all, I have 3 disks all have identical Win10 and none will boot. I get the dreaded blue screen "With Your PC needs to be repaired" - tried the Windows install flash with its repair option, of course that didn't work, I _Never_ had that work.

I inserted the Windows PE rescue flash I made off this forum and only after installing that, this flash is the only visible device in the bootable disks section in the BIOS. So when the flash drive is physically inserted, the primary disk will boot, and when it's not, nothing will boot.

How do I make C: bootable again???

bcdedit looks reasonable

You didn't run nt6repair as administrator, though you also didn't check to see if g:\windows\system32\config software exists.

G is the windows partition. G is not the EFI system partition.
This is your EFI system partition on disk0



That is why you need to give that 300mb EFI system partition a letter as explained in my first post.

I ran the NT6 repair on G: just to be safe and now I will check if it has become a bootable disk.

Edit: Let me make the 300mb a letter and re-do it.

How do I do that? Not possible using the Disk Management tool. The letter option is grayed out, even as admin.

In the command results there were 4 disks: 0, 1, 2, 3

Disks 0 and 1 displayed RAW partitions for 1, 4, 5

Follow the steps as per SIW2 to label partition 1 and convert RAW into a working system partition.

If you want Windows recovery to be active then you can run the applicable command.
