Cannot Boot off of Cloned SSD

I recently got a new ssd to use alongside an hdd in my pc. I tried to clone my hdd to my ssd using three different software: EaseUS Partition Master (Did not work since every action seemed to be behind a paywall?), Macrium Reflect (Did not work as I received an error about failing to create a volume snapshot), and Minitool Partition Wizard (Successfully cloned the hdd to the ssd but I could not boot off of the ssd, no boot devices were detected when I changed boot settings in bios). Could anyone give me a hand? My ssd is from Western Digital and I used their ssd software to wipe the drive so that I would have a clean drive to work with. (This is all with Windows 10)

The error Macrium Reflect (Did not work as I received an error about failing to create a volume snapshot) suggests your trying to clone while in windows and it can lok the drive with MR you can create a boot dvd\usb boot from that and try cloning it should work

How would I go about creating a boot USB? I also do not have a cd drive.

There is probably a mechanism for that in macrium. Most imaging programs do it.

Look under "other tasks" or something similar.

Is Disk1 what you think is your cloned disk? It is unallocated in your screenshot. Presumably you did that after failing to boot following the partwiz clone?

So I create rescue media on a USB and then boot off of the USB, then I perform the clone and try and boot from the cloned drive?

My PC will run normally while booting off of the USB? I've never run a PC off of a USB.

At least consider making and restoring an image of the original drive----rather than cloning it to the new drive.

You may get cloning to work; if not, use imaging as a last resort.

What is the difference between cloning and imaging?
