backups usb seagate bup slim disk drive

What backups can I use to create an image on the Seagate bup slim disk drive. Computer
is windows pro 64 bit UEFI.
I think my problem is that the slim drive works only with mbr.
    Thanks for any help.

There is nothing unique or special about that drive that would prevent it from configured as either GPT or MBR.

When you say that you want to create an image on that drive, could you clarify what that means? There are about 100 different image types I could create on a HD.

If I get a clearer understanding of the goal I may be able to give some advice that applies to what you want to accomplish.

I'll take a stab at one possibility: If you want to create a direct clone of a drive in your existing system, a program such as Macrium Reflect can do that for you very easily.

If that is not what you wanted, my apologies. With a little clarification, I'll try again
    Thanks!

I use one of those drives for backup. You can format the drive as you wish - I use NTFS. I recommend using Macrium Reflect Free for full system backups as do many on the forum.

    Thanks guys for your help.
    Windows version # 1909 (os Build 18363.959)
I just want to backup the entire contents of the windows 10 ssd.
    No cloning.
The Segate bup Slim usb ssd is not cooperating.
As far as Macrium Reflect is concerned it must be to complicated for
me. I have tried it several times.
I will try to follow your suggestions.

Macrium Reflect is reliable and well worth the effort of getting to grips with it.

But if you find it too complicated, then I've seen Aomei Backupper free recommended by @Snick as an easy to use alternative.

Reflect does make it look tricky for new users, esp with its offer to set up a schedule - there is no need on first use, just get comfortable with it to start with. 4 clicks (*) are enough to get something: run the program and click here:

backups usb seagate bup slim disk drive-reflect-1.png
then select a destination folder (1) and click 'Next' (2)
backups usb seagate bup slim disk drive-reflect-2n.png
Ignore stuff about schedules at this stage, and click next:
backups usb seagate bup slim disk drive-reflect-3.png
    then click 'Finish'
backups usb seagate bup slim disk drive-reflect-4.png
After a while you will be done!

PS I have real trouble getting my attachments to appear in the correct order! Now that could use a guide...
