Unable to Create Restore Point on Schedule
How do I create a "Create Restore Point on Schedule" when I don't have a password? I used to have a schedule that worked until I upgraded to 2004.
Thanks for any help!

Hi, whilst you may be able to set up a scheduled task to launch one of the scripts you can find on the net to create a restore point - which is what I still have set up on one PC-
(Example: there are several with and without a prompt to name the restore point:

and not have to enter a password, the fact your password no longer works may catch you out in other ways. For example, if you wished to boot to a command prompt- if you use a PIN now, you can log in to Safe Mode now with that, but not boot to command prompt without a password.
Some actions as a local user would also require admin password approval.
You may be able to use one of these methods to reset your password:

Thanks again!
