System restore disabled 2004

Most people experience SR being disabled after a feature update.

It's a good thing to, it became practically useless.

..true, but it's still great when it does work- rescued me recently when suddenly I was confronted with 'User profile cannot be loaded' for no reason I can think of.

Peversely, mine always seems to get reset to "on" as I have it set to "off".

It's a binary world... just goes to prove the choice isn't yours! And that shows no consistency on MS's part as to whether they think it's a feature people should use or not.
