Still not working
Tried my 5th backup tonight and it failed so the culprit is not the Lacie drive.

Check your destination disk - not with chkdsk - but with e.g.
HD Tune v2.55 (free) Health and Error Scan tabs.
E.g. from softpedia.com
The verification process, if I recall correctly, verifies the integrity of the saved image file. It seems that what was written has become corrupted after it was written.
I don't understand how it can become corrupted straight after it is written. Surely it would detect the error in the drive during the write?
In any case I have checked the destination drive and it has no issues. I tried two different drives as destination and both failed. I ran another backup last night and didn't verify as part of the backup process. I then verified the backup this morning and it checked out fine. The other change I did was to only backup my 2 SSD's and not the other 3 drives I have in my PC. Those 3 drives scan fine but is it possible one of them is causing the hiccup? It's most baffling. I guess I could back up each drive individually and if one fails I have the culprit. If none fail then I don't know.
Test your RAM.
Macrium Reflect Data Verification failed issues... tonight I was able to systematically test pairs of DRAM until I discovered DRAM3 was causing the issue.
Macrium seems to be happy now that I have removed from my mobo.
