Someone here will outright know the answer to that. I don't. I probably did know at one time, but have forgotten.
But I'd suspect it won't work, at least without jumping through hoops.
Because one of those might cause a format that would over-write the other.
Because one of those might require a certain file system that the other doesn't appreciate.
Try it and see what happens. It won't start a fire.
Or go to Walgreen's and pop for 5 bucks on another drive.
Better to buy another drive, because the Windows installer needs the drive to be in Fat32 format (Great for small <1gb storage, but terrible on space usage on larger storage). Most other backups will use FAT32, but after you put Windows installer on there, there will be less than 2-3 gb left since it takes over 4gb (normally) and that is over 1/2 of the storage capacity that you have.
thanks. I've got 8 gb stick, 64 gb stick, 128 gb stick and 1 tb external hard drive. May find more flash drives!
