    Minimize programs and restore

Another problem I'm finding with 10 is as follows. With 7 it was easy to minimize an open program. It disappeared to Explorer and could be clicked on and restored. Under 10 you can minimize, but only the first one is recognized. If you minimized a second program it supplants the first, the first disappears they don't stack up, the first is lost. Is there a way to stack up the minimized programs so they aren't lost. It takes time to have to go and retrieve the program from Google.

Retrieve the program from Google? I'm not sure what you mean there at all. Minimising programs should minimise them to the taskbar, just hover over the icon (they will stack) and choose whichever window you want to maximise again.

When you talk of Retrieving them from Google, I take it you mean having to Search for your pages all over again, as when you minimize a Window it just supplants the first one, that you were looking at and disappears.

Here is the way that I do it.

    (1) Get the programme on the Screen that I want to look at (but don't Click: the minimise dash-)

    (2) Instead of Clicking: the minimise dash- (Click: the Three dots ...) At the Top right hand side of the Screen (Click: New Window)

    (3) New Window Opens and the First One disappears (But not for long!)

    (4) In this New Window, I can now open another Programme or do a New Search for a Web Page and I can just 'Rinse and Repeat' doing this as many times as I like.

    (5) Now when I hover the mouse pointer over the Edge Browser, both of those Windows appear (or however many I had open)

    (6) If I click on one of those Windows, I can bring it up Full Screen.

    (7) If I want to look at a different one then I (Do not Minimise it) I just go back and hover my mouse pointer over Edge and all of the Windows I opened, will be there for me to Select from.

I don't know about other Browsers but it really works great with Edge.

Thanks Cyber, I'm going to copy this and try it out. OK, Cyber, I tried it and it indeed works. It is cumbersome and not as nice as 7 was. Anyway thanks for the help. Cyber, another problem. When I try and stack the programs up in Edge I am stuck at two. When I try and put the third in, one of the prior two disappears. I have tried and can't get it to stack three or four. What am I missing?
