Wow, after all these years of laboriously drilling down into the *.mrimg file's Properties to the 'Macrium Reflect' tab for my comments, I am most grateful for this time saving File Explorer column short cut.

The date I put there is the date I make the Full image. For any subsequent differentials/incrementals they must continue to use the same name as the Full otherwise they are not seen as part of the same backup set. If you change the filename in the backup definitions, then that will make Macrium start a completely new backup set using the new name.
