Backup question

Hi, what does it back up? From the tutorial section:
Create Windows Backup in Windows 10

gives some info on what it backs up.

It's there for legacy purposes, primarily. MS itsefl recommends people use 3rd party programs which are current, supported and updated. tenforums members frequently recommend Macrium Reflect (free + paid); there are other options.

If you do use the Windows product ensure you have boot media to be able to use it.

Just ignore the flaky MS solution and use Macrium Reflect Free

OP's post is ambiguous - he may be asking what "Backup" which is, of course "File History Backup".

there is Backup. I usually select Windows 7 Backup and Restore.
What does this backup?

I'd suggest 'this' refers to its most immediate antecedent.
