Cloning with MACRIUM -- Partition Alignment

Getting ready to Clone for the first time using Macrium Free. Going from a bootable UEFI HDD to a SSD.

I read comments that Partition Alignment is important on SSD's, specifically the "alignment to 4KB boundaries for optimum performance and life." What I can't seem to find is whether this is selectable in the cloning process. Does this have to be selected or does Macrium do it automatically? THX

Macrium should do it automatically. After cloning, MoniTool Partition Wizard Free can check partition alignment.

Thank you. It seemed to do so. I used my Macrium 'Rescue CD' to perform the clone. I found an article that said you can use one of the disk/partition utilities or msinfo32>Components > Storage > Disks to check the SSD's "Partition Starting Offset." If that number is evenly divisible by 4096 (i.e., with no fraction remaining), then the partition is aligned correctly. That came out even so I guess I'm good. Thanks to everyone for their input!
