    Macrium Reflect not updating


    Running MR ver.4744 and trying to update to .4808 on Insider version 19587 and then today 19592.1001. Selected update downloads, SW initializing and then a search engine starts and runs for 10 minutes with an error code saying it could not find the software???? Of course it was running when I checked for updates and still runs now. Included is the error message and a couple of lines from the MR log. p.s. I looked at the location and it is there, and runs from there.

    I never update Macrium after making images with it, and I make a LOT of images. I`m using version 7.2.4473 and just put a fresh image of W10 taken form my 860 Pro and imaged it to my 850 Pro, not 1 problem.

    My suggestion is to go back to the version you were using or download 4808 and install it, don`t patch it.

    If 4744 was working fine for you, I see no reason to update it.

I have WD Element with Windows10. How do I open it to retrieve a file. If I click on WD Elements in" MY PC" I get Capture2 If I double click on WD Elements I get capture2. How does one actually get into the programme to be able to work it please?
If you ask me, Macrium Reflect should be obligatory, first application installed after installing Windows 10. Users often think it as just another backup application but in fact it is much more, giving more than any other free imaging solution....
