New to Macrium - several how to questions

I have Macrium v v7.2.4744 installed and made one full system backup. It verified ok.
Now there is a new build out to fix possible corruption.

So i need to install the new build and update rescue media? If the image I already made still verifies, is it usable?

I do full image backups only of drive C (disk 6). In the attached pic, there are four partitions. All should be included in the image, correct?

    Thanks

    Yes.

There's a button on the left side of MR's GUI 'Create an image of...' thatshould automatically select all these. You can add or remove partitions manually with the check boxes.

Think: your disk has just failed. You're staring at a blank new disk to put in your PC. You only have an image of C: - how will you get your PC up and running with that?

(Ok, there's a way, but you wouldn't just need MR alone).

    Thanks for the reply.

Do I need to update the rescue media with each new program update?

Macrium is said to be always retrospectively compatible. Consider starting a new image set with a MR major version update; likewise you need to do that after a Windows feature update.

Slight overkill, but I always make a new Rescue USB after each MR upgrade.

I don`t jump on new updates, I use the version I have and I`ve never had an issue.

Just imaged W10 onto a 960 Evo and Macrium worked flawlessly, as usual
