    Could I just use WinPE ro make a .wim backup of my windows 10 drive


    Would this be possible to do without sysprep, since I would only be usingdeploying this .wim as a backup for the exact same machine (serial number, windows version, etc.) All the stuff that ssysprep generalizes?

    You can make a full image backup using ffu from WinPE. See @Kari tutorial.
