Make a Back up of System
I have Windows 10 on my computer. I have two TB SSDs. One with the system on it and the second for a backup. What is the best way to create a back up on that drive?

Assuming you want to create a "backup" of the SSD with the system----I'd make a single image file that included all partitions on that SSD. I'd save it to the other SSD.
Several programs can do that.... Aomei, Macrium Reflect, Paragon, EaseUS, etc.
You have to know how to restore that image file. By itself, it isn't of much use.
Ideally, you'd make a separate ordinary file by file backup of any personal files also on that system SSD.
You also need a way to boot your PC if your system SSD will not boot for whatever reason. That is normally done via a USB stick aka "recovery media", made from within the backup application. If you can't boot, you can't restore the image file.

I use Macrium Reflect Free to make a system image of my PC's Windows drive on a second drive, in my case an external HDD. A system image contains all the used space from the partitions of the system being imaged, but not any of the free space. It will also be compressed, meaning it will be about 60-70% of the size of the used space from the system partitions.
To restore an image you need to boot from the Macrium recovery media. You can make this on a usb stick and boot from that to restore an image.

Other system imaging software is available, but I haven't tried any. I find Macrium to be well supported and reliable. So much so that after using the free version for years I have bought the paid-for version for some of my machines.

I have a similar setup with two SSD's.
I have a copy of Image for Windows by Terabyte Unlimited.
It is a simple but very effective program and can backup on a C: drive while still in Windows.
I usually backup both my C: Drive as well as the hidden Windows directories.
For me it take about 5 to 6 minutes to backup and compresses everything about 50%
Recovery I must boot up from CD or USB with the recovery program on it.
Like I said I have been using this for about 15 years and still works like a champ.

I make the following Reflect backups:
- Scheduled backup of system drive to an internal drive - use this to recover from Windows only problems
- Scheduled backup of system & user drives to a permanently connected external drive - use this to recover Windows & data
- Manual backup of system & user drives to an external drive then stored offline - use this to recover Windows & data in the event of malware attack

Thanks for the help. I have downloaded the free version of Macrium but haven't made a back up yet..I am having black screen problems. When I get that taken care of I will do a back up.t
